After a quick review of last week's message, Pastor Mark laid out the importance of having unity in the Body of Christ and the basis for that unity as we see in 1 Corinthians 1:10-18. Jesus prayed for us "to be one as He and the Father are one" and Paul calls for unity in several other letters he wrote. God's desire for His Church is unity. Pastor Mark shared the development of vision over the past two and a half years and the focus for this year that the church Council discussed at their annual planning session recently. He shared that unity flows from humility and gave us two areas to be praying about as we work towards this year's objectives.
