Wow! A third of this year has already passed and I know for some, it can't pass quickly enough given everything we've had to contend with related to COVID 19. Our governor recently extended the stay at home order through the end of May so we will continue to offer our worship services online. Those are located on the MESSAGES tab of this site. Since this has been extended, we're also starting an online Bible Study this month using ZOOM at 9:30am on Sundays. Email me if you're interested in receiving an invitation.

I want to thank the many people of Christ Lutheran who have been stepping in to help those in need. From our Feed the Hungry teams to mask making to repairs and upgrades around our campus, on top of the prayers and financial support that's being provided, our mission of helping people Experience Christ's Love is truly being accomplished. Thank you so much and to God be the Glory!

I also recognize that this is a very stressful time for many and if you're one of those people who are feeling that stress, we have some resources for you. Please contact me so we can help or call your Elder and they will do so. You're not alone in this and we're eager to do what we can to assist.

Finally, I want to encourage you to use this time of physical distancing to draw closer to our Lord and His Word. This can be a time of wonderful learning and refining in our walk of faith, but that won't happen without being intentional. Take advantage of opportunities to study the Bible, spend time in worship and prayer, and look for where God has equipped you to serve and help others. Those options probably look quite different than a couple of months ago, but they're still there and may actually have expanded.

Stay safe and well and know that you are loved and being prayed for.

Blessings in Christ,

Pastor Mark
