WE Followed In Jesus' Footsteps

On Saturday, April 4, at 3:00 PM, we at Christ Lutheran Church gathered for a Walk to the Cross. This was a somber and poignant way to remember  the journey Jesus made on Good Friday, beginning in the Garden of Gethsemane and concluding at Calvary. A short video was  shown to start, followed by readings of several scenes that focused on individual episodes of this day. We closed with the crucifixion, where the specific details of that dreadful time were explained.

However, remember. That awful cross was not the end of the story! Easter Sunday followed Good Friday, when Jesus rose to overthrow death. Easter was joyfully celebrated in three services of cheerful Christians who joined millions of brothers and sisters worldwide shouting "He is risen, indeed! Alleluia!"
